BeNative is a modern consulting initiative, capable of dealing with the diverse and personalised needs of every individual or legal entity that chooses Greece and specifically the Ionian Region, as their ideal place of living or conducting business, aiming to offer a ‘’single-stop-shop’’ type of service. The concept was developed in 2020 by Stefanos Vlastos, an Accountant & Tax Consultant that succeeded his father in their 39-year-old tax consulting and accounting practice, and Konstantinos Gkoros, a Civil Engineer who in turn leads a 38-year-old family-owned architectural and engineering practice. The basis of the idea was to provide holistic solutions through BeNative’s extensive professional network, to individuals relocating from abroad and to help them navigate the deep waters of investing and/or settling in a new country, whether they need assistance with initial settling-in procedures, investigating the local real estate market and investing in it, to establishing a business and applying for a residence permit

STEFANOS VLASTOS

FINANCIAL CONSULTANT & CO-FOUNDER

Stefanos Vlastos attended the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, graduating with a Degree in Economics. He continued his studies by completing his MSc in Economics & Business from the Erasmus School of Economics, at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is a Certified Accountant and member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, and holds several certifications, including the Greek Accounting Standards, Maritime Companies taxation and Double Taxation Conventions.

He has been heavily involved within the Yachting Industry and has an in depth and complete knowledge of the Pleasure Yachts business activity in Greece. He has been working as an Accountant and Tax Advisor with plenty of domestic and foreign clients (both individuals & legal entities) and has been assigned as the accountant/tax advisor to – among others – the Corfu Pharmaceutical Association, the Corfu Choir, Sailing Holidays Greece Ltd & Sail Ionian.

KONSTANTINOS GKOROS

CIVIL ENGINEER & CO-FOUNDER

Konstantinos Gkoros graduated from London South Bank University with a BEng and MSc in Civil Engineering. Whilst his university background is based in the United Kingdom, he is also a chattered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. Actively involved in the Real Estate Market, as a Technical Consultant and Property Inspector/Valuer since 2016, Konstantinos holds in depth knowledge of the various technical constraints and parameters one may face during a property acquisition, which he demonstrates through his unique portfolio of international and domestic clients. Involved as a project planner and designer, he offers expertise on financial and interpersonal management of projects within the residential sector with an emphasis on the construction of private residential dwellings all over Corfu.

He has been the technical advisor for many well-established businesses, of which recent clients are the Grammenos Family Winery and Corfu Beer Brewery, along with various hotels and businesses within the hospitality sector. Konstantinos’s effective problem solving, and strong organisational skills demonstrate a clear devotion to successfully completing his projects.
